Mah jongg in Wisconsin

I do not have an instructor in Wisconsin yet. I would like one, and I will say so plainly rather than pretend otherwise — but there is a great deal of mah jongg in this state already, and two good ways for me to help you find it or start it.

Where the games are

Milwaukee has the most activity — JCC programs and several independent groups. Madison, Green Bay, Appleton, Kenosha and Racine all have games running, and the library systems in a number of Wisconsin towns host open sessions that anybody may walk into. Door County and the smaller lake towns have summer games that swell considerably when the season turns.

Starting a league where there is nothing

This is the one I would push you toward, because Wisconsin has more towns with four interested women than it has organized games.
